Robots That Vacuum and Mop
Robots that vacuum and clean provide the convenience of cleaning dry debris and wet mess in one go, without having to switch between devices. www.robotvacuummops.uk can also save space when compared to two separate units, particularly in smaller living spaces.
A good combination bot will provide excellent navigation and obstacles avoidance. Look for models that automatically empty their bin and refill their water tank and machine-wash their mopping pads from a dedicated dock.
1. Eufy S1 Pro
It has a lot to offer at a affordable price and is one of the most simple robots we've tested to install. Unpacking is simple, and the quick-start guide will have you up and running in no time. It comes with the complete dust bag, water tank and hard floor solution.
The S1 Pro is an incredibly powerful machine that can vacuum and mop well. The mops spin at a high rate and employ 2.2 pounds (1kg of force) to take away pet hair, dirt and sticky dried spills. The vacuum cleaner comes with four power settings, as well as a selection of attachments and brushes and an intuitive app which lets you choose the kind of cleaning you'd like to do for each room.
For instance, you can request the robot to clean the kitchen and the living room thoroughly but leave the bedroom in its own space. The S1 Pro's front colision sensors and smart navigation technology are excellent too, with the robot being capable of detecting small obstacles that other models have difficulty overcoming. Its only issue is that it tends to hit walls and objects at full speed. However looking at the history of cleaning on the app will show you precisely what the robot has completed, where it's traveling, and what obstacles it has stumbled upon or avoided.
A convenient LCD screen on the docking station tells you when maintenance jobs must be completed including emptying the debris tray and cleaning the dirty water tank. It also mixes detergent into the tank by itself, using a 600ml eufy solution.
Both the S1 Pro mop and vacuum come with a long-running time. The mop can run for 184 mins in Quiet Mode. The vacuum can run for 136 minutes in normal mode, before needing to recharge or returning back to the base. And you can see the full cleaning details in the app, which is clearly laid out and is easy to comprehend although we would like to be able distinguish between a vacuum and mop clean, when examining a cleaned area in the cleaning history.
2. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the most recent version of Roborock's most popular robot mop and vacuum, is the newest version. The model this year has two agitators built into its mopping pad. This improves the carpet cleaning capabilities of this model. The S8 Pro Ultra also has improved suction power, allowing it to pull up small hairs and other debris that other robotic cleaners could overlook.
The Roborock model, like the other two I tested is equipped with infrared and 3D obstacle avoidance technology to help it avoid obstacles such as furniture, walls, and other obstacles. The S8 Pro Ultra goes one step further and incorporates dual cameras that can detect objects, determining whether they are walls or other surfaces. It can then change its course automatically and clean them, without missing a step.
It's the most expensive model I've tried and it comes with the most features. Its sleek and angular design is striking and has just three physical buttons that include the power button that also resumes cleaning; a mop button that doubles as a child lock and a home button to send the robot back to its dock. The hinged lid opens up to reveal a 350ml trash bin and 200ml of water tank. The water tank automatically empties and the bin fills up automatically.
The only issue I have found with this model is that the VibraRise mop pad mount is not removable. It is possible to replace the mopping cloth when required, but it's not easy to take the mount off for washing manually. I've observed that any soft carpet the robot crosses will be in contact with the rough Velcro-like fastener mechanism on the mount, which can cause abrasions.

The S8 Pro Ultra is equipped with a range of smart features that include support for Google Home and Amazon Alexa. The Roborock app lets you manage and configure these features. It also has maps and advanced mopping options. The app also allows you to schedule cleanings and monitor battery life and component maintenance. You'll need to go through some hoops to activate voice control on this model. It's a shame, considering the performance otherwise.
3. Dreame X40
The Dreame X40 robot vacuum and mop is a leader in the industry with innovative features, superior suction power and cutting-edge mopping capabilities. Its intelligent design allows users to tailor and effectively clean while saving time.
The X40 robot vacuum cleaner is the first to offer 12,000 Pascals cleaning power. It is one of the most powerful choices available. This powerful vacuum is able to clean up pet hair dust, crumbs and any other dry mess. It comes with a mop of excellent quality that can clean hard floors without using pads. Additionally the X40 is quiet in its operation, with only occasional squeaks of sound when switching between modes or completing self-maintenance tasks.
Another noteworthy characteristic is the X40's extendable and liftable side brushes, that allows it to reach difficult-to-access corners and clean curved furniture like table and chairs' legs. It can also get under low-profile furnishings which makes it an ideal choice for small apartments or condos. The side brush automatically swivels downwards when it detects wet spots. This is a nice addition that helps the X40 to avoid causing damage to floors by repeated back-andforth movements.
Contrary to other robots, which are limited to a single task, the X40 can vacuum and mop at the same time. It can be programmed to only mop the hard floors and not skip carpeted areas, and vice versa. It can be controlled via the Dreame app or by using Alexa, Siri, and Google Home for a seamless voice-controlled operation.
The app is user-friendly and easy to use and the X40's clever features are simple to install. Users can program the X40 to clean at specific times, adjust suction power and mode, look at mapping and floor plans and manage mopping settings. The X40 can also monitor its progress and inform you when it's finished.
The X40 is easy to keep clean and has numerous features that make it a great option for busy families. The docking station can automatically empty the dustbin, and clean the mop pads and refill them with fresh cleaning solution and water. It also can detect if the mop pad has reached its maximum capacity and notify you of the situation before it spills.
4. L20 Ultra
The L20 Ultra is a high-end robot that's one of the most expensive models available however, it comes with many extra features that distinguish it from. The mops come with a brand new feature called Smart DuoScrub. This makes use of two mops with high-speed motors to clean floors more thoroughly than the standard method, and it has an impressive suction power of 7,000Pa. This is more than the Roborock S8 Pro Ultra or Ecovacs Deebot T20 Omni, and it can remove pet hair and other small dirt particles in addition to removing spills and wet spots.
The mops are also dried and cleaned inside the base station after each use. This is an excellent feature because it prevents the build-up of odours and mould in the storage area, and it also makes the mop system more efficient. This is a feature we've yet to see on other robot vacuum and mop models, and it could be a great method of keeping your home hygienic for longer.
There are a lot of options, including the option to schedule cleanings and adjust preferences. These settings can be adjusted via the app or there are buttons on the unit itself. The app is easy to use and provides a variety of options for customising the cleaning routine. Additionally, there are many functions that other robots don't have - such as the Clean Genius mode that automatically boosts suction power when it detects dust particles, instead of using the manual setting.
The L20 Ultra has a stylish design with a white-and-metallic finish that looks elegant and sophisticated. It's a bit heavier than the other two-in-1 robots on this list - at 4kg however it's not overly heavy, and it feels sturdy and well-built. The mopping system is also well-designed, and the double rotating mop is a great choice for hard floors or in corners. They can even extend to 2mm of baseboards due to the MopExtend feature, which is a nice addition.
